Please note that servers 12, 13 and 16 are being rebooted into the latest kernel tonight and this may result in some 5 - 10 minutes downtime.

Should any server require a mandatory filesystem check, this may result in upto half an hour of downtime whilst it is conducted.

Is it not possilble to send announcements like these via email? Not everyone checks the forums daily and email seems to be a better option.

Just a thought.
